I never have the dentist numb me because I hate the feeling of being numb and I'd rather endure a little pain...well this idiot started drilling on the wrong tooth! and missed and hit my gum...then his assistant had to tell him that he was screwing up  Needless to say we never went back to him

It doesn't hurt that bad...just relax and put your mind elsewhere...well as much as you can. But I have a pretty high pain tolerance or so I've been told
