As many already have heard of what happen at Fort Hood with the end results there were 13 killed.

As of this moment they are gathering at Fort Hood to hold the Memorial Services for these 13 Men & Women that had there lives taken within and area to them was a safe zone.

This Thread is strictly for those to pay respect to those that have Fallen and their Family's at this time. Please be considerate and keep this to prayers and kind thoughts.

Not only should our prayers be for those no longer here but as well for those that were shot and on the road to recovery. There is still around 15 that are still in the hospital and have a long road ahead of them

Update regarding the memorial for those that did not know what happen.....

As I watched the Memorial today it was very heart wrenching the pain for these families have only just begun.

It is hard enough to loose a loved one that has gone to war but to loose them after they have served their tours or fixing to go for the first time. Has to really be hard to understand how this could happen the way it did.

May they all find the peace that is needed to make it through the coming months ahead.

Many hearts have been broken, many tears have fell.
Many words left unable to be heard, and many families torn apart.

HEAVENLY FATHER, PLEASE HERE ALL THEIR PRAYERS, HELP THESE FAMILIES STAY STRONG AND FIND FORGIVENESS AND PEACE IN THEIR HEARTS.
PLEASE LET THEIR LOSS OF THEIR LOVE ONE BRING THEM ALL CLOSER TOGETHER THROUGH A GREATER UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY DIED IN FULL VIEW AND HONOR OF THIS NATION THEY WERE DEFENDING.
HELP THEM TO KNOW, THEY OUR ALL IN YOUR ARMS NOW FOREVER AND AT PEACE WITH WHAT HAS HAPPEN, IN JESUS NAME I ASK THIS, I LOVE YOU JESUS CHRIST, AMEN.

Let us all come to peace with knowing that EVERY BRANCH of our fighting men and women, can fall subject to one individual having mental issues and not blame everyone who is not english,or american born.....THIS CAN HAPPEN AGAIN, and ,or, something like it.
The mind and its abilties to COPE with war and death, can cause ANYONE involved with LIVING-IT,,,to be CHANGED FOREVER..
Just know that, and PRAY for all who serve and have served, as
time and conflicts remain to acure, and lives are at risk.
Texsgal,,,THANK YOU for posting this very needed post..

I knew many of them...Sad day for me...

I did not know any of the ones that were killed. One of my son's friends husband and her are stationed at Fort Hood at this time but they are okay.

Fort Hood has a special place within my heart that is where my Dad meet my Mom. My Dad served 2 terms within the Army and was stationed at Fort Hood when he married my Mom.......

My heart goes out to all of the family's & friends dealing with this tragedy.flowerforyou
