..but the inquisitive person I am, I've tried to gather why (and it is a long time ago but just curious).
A man wanted me to call after meeting him on the site. We had a nice conversation. I contacted him with an innocuous 'hi' and a simple comment that was totally harmless. We spoke for a long time over the telephone. We were talking about meeting in a week or two given our obligations. I wrote a humorous comment to keep him aware of me. He never contacted me and I see him on the site frequently, just a picture that he's online.
I have an attractive picture up and could make him laugh knowing I could be good company. He's o.k. and has dated previously with no connection. He never married anyone.
Just curious, why do you men think he never contact me even though he still shows up online? I am non-pressuring. Lastly, we talked and I don't eat what he eats. No biggie. He asked if I had a last meal what would it be(?) Well, last meal..I told him a lobster, lol. My friend told me he didn't contact me because he's cheap. P.S. I didn't say I wanted HIM to buy that dinner. This might not be part of the issue.

Ah, there's just no knowing with some people Annet, I've been contacted by girls before and never heard back from them.

It's probably something that'll keep their therapists fat and sleek for years to come, but we'll never really know. Perhaps it's better not to.

Sorry to say, you may have made him laugh but he's probably just not that into you for whatever reason. If he was he would at least be e-mailing.

I had a recent member do something like that too. We e-mailed a lot, IM'ed, and texted each other. I was even going to plan a trip to see him next year! Then one day, out of the blue, he stopped messaging. I'd see him online, but didn't bother messaging me anymore. He's not on this site anymore, but I am his friend on Myspace and Facebook. We are still friends, but not as close as we used to be.

Just keep trying!!

People change their minds all the time, be glad he did this earlier rather than later, when you were really into him. Good luck next time.

Even if you posted in the ask a guy forum, unless females are restricted from posting there- which to my knowledge they are not- women will still comment, if they are so inclined. That's the risk you run when you post on a public forum, the public- women and men included- will post. By the way, I'm not a man, and I commented.

I'll rely on Fate. This one is a former 9/11 worker. Being kind, I can be compassionate. Then it is tiresome. I'll take Fate and move on. It gets kinda lonely but I've moved forward anyway. It's just a commentary on my part and a question.
