All I know is that I don't like leading a person on if they had no picture. Even if we decide to be just friends, he will still try to convince me he's the right guy. Don't want to waste his time...really.

Oops! I meant members with no pictures at all. If they had a picture of just anything, I'd talk to them. A blank where the photo should go, I don't talk to them.

i will i have one just not up but half the time when i send mine i never get reply's back so i just don't bother any more some people are still just ya know Jerks lol

Not a big deal, I guess...But could indicate some issues...almost everyone with a computer and cell phone, much less digital camera, has the ability to load a photo. Case by case basis...but I don;t have too much time for people that can't be up front..MY experience is that often people have something to hide! But again, I don;t lose sleep over stuff like this.

Privacy issues are important too .
Once you have a pic on the Net you have no control over it at all .
People can do anything with it and sad enough the law can NOT help you in case of a serious problem .

Looks or body type is not, nor ever has been so that has never been, a big issue for me so those fears are unfounded with me.

I think there are some jobs and situations that make it wize to not post a photo.

If you are a halfway passable looking woman, regardless of age, you get a lot of obnoxious emails so I can see why some women would be uncomfortable.

All that said the majority of men who have not posted a photo turn out to be undesireable in the extreame so it would be a huge red flag to my interest.

I would they could always send a pic if interested or asked.
