Chaos but clean. I do not care if things are out of place but I want things clean.

I like things clean. The weird part...when I clean, I tend to lose things. Don't ask. I just won't remember where I place something after cleaning. Lol....short term memory loss??  I tend to lose the remote. And yes, to be a guy and lose a remote is like unheard of. I swear. It's bound to happen once in awhile. And losing the remote? Hey, it can happen...even for a guy.  I swear....there are like little gnomes taking my remote and hiding it from me.  "Ahh, I see the screw-up fairy has visited again" My place is clean, and neat. The bird cages can get a bit messy, since the brats throw chafe out, but that's not a big deal |

a clean desk is the sign of a sick mind I use the geological filing system old stuff on the bottom, new stuff on top my desk is bare, with the except of an almost-empty in-tray, the computer, a telephone, a photo cube and plant.  it's okay though, after reading melody's post, i feel like i'm actually normal.

I hate to say this, but one thing that always drove me crazy about my ex is that she loved.....LOVED....clutter. I like to keep things clean, and neat. But man, she could clutter up a house. What about you guys? How do you keep your house? I keep it clean. |

I read once that the person with a clean desk has a hard time finding stuff. They handle it once and put it away
where as the person with the cluttered desk knows where every thing is. Every time they look for something they handle every piece on their desk looking for it and actually remember every thing on the desk |

Clean freak , I'm so bad that if I'm at some house that's clutter I start to tidy it up ..

I like things organized, but I'm not fanatic about it. I hate knick-knacks and that sort of clutter. I'm not the messy one in my house anyway, Buttercup is. She has a basket for her toys, but is not happpy unless all 500 of them are scattered on the livingroom floor.

The house is always clean...and mostly neat thanks to some help. I do have a running battle
 with Natalya, who insists on rearranging some of my things on tables, shelves and such! My desk, which used to be somewhat de-shoveled (ok, messy) has improved. I discovered, however, that technology more than me is responsible for any neatness. Unfortunately, my computers are "cluttered"!

My apartment is always neat, although sometimes dusty, but my work desk is always cluttered.. I know where everything is on there..LOL

I've posted a picture to make my point. My house is pretty clean but cluttered. I get attached to objects and especially artwork. They have stories behind them and I like it homey. If I cleaned like Melody-I would never be done with all the things on my walls.
