heh...the most i ever go to one for is books. and now that i have my kindle, that's unnecessary.

oh geez...just about everything in my house is from the big houses up on the hill...

i love yard sales but my fav is estate sales you can find things that people dont really realize there worth more..

over the summer there was this lady that was moving for she going back to cal the house she grew up in, and she selling everything in her house... i found her post on craigslist she was selling a curio cabnet for $30 and she had it made like 20yrs ago and she paid $100 for it then...i wasent really looking for anything to buy but when i saw that, i knew i had to get it..

i havent been to any yard sales resently.. but my mom has called me a packrat.. i have over 100 snowglobes in my living room

You can find some great deals. 2 years ago I found an Atari 2600 still in the wrapper for $5.00

It sucks right now because there won't be any more garage sales around here until Spring.

I LOVE garage sales. I wound up buying a Kenwood 500 watt Surround Sound receiver for 20 bucks.

I usually wind up buying books or electronics. But I did get a pretty nice set of lamps for 5 bucks.

luv em, yardsales, used book stores and junk stores. one humans garbage another humans gold.

best score: 50's era boat motors. 75hp 6 cylinder mercury first year of the six and a 12 horse seaking troller. both great runners too

Here some things that drive me crazy that some sellers do:
__Post itty bitty widdle piss-ant signs with a 5x7 piece of cardboard & pencil.
__They post 63 signs and then the last 4 blocks...no signs. Huh?
__A ga-billion signs and the house is closed up tight. Grrr.
__Prices too high. It's a garage sale!
__Steep driveway, house on top of hill, have to park on street. What were they thinking when they bought the house??
