Lived in this place for seven years. Never had a Trick-Or-Treater yet, and this year proved to be no exception.

They do not go door to door very much. They had a block Halloween party in my neighborhood. Sorta the same thing here. The town hosts a huge party at the Community Center. It's a tradition. |

I had alot of kids come to the pad. I had candy corn packs, and apparently that stuff is like crack to them. Well, and to the adults to, cause they saw the candy corn and wanted some. But I charged them a quarter a pack. Nice to make a profit.

I passed out ...
Jelly Shots. |

I didn't get any either but we are a gated community. I did see a lot of people buying costumes this last week. I think the going door to door is dying out for kids. Now they go store to store at the mall if they are real little or have private parties.

It has been a great week...enjoying Atlantic Beach near Jacksonville, FL for the past eight days...the Florida-Georgia Game...a huge deal here..."The world's largest outdoor cocktail party" once again lived up to its reputation. Thousands of people in costumes roaming between the various bars, clubs and restaurants the past couple nights...fun stuff. Everyone happy..well, except for some very sad Bulldog fans! Hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!

It rained here so we didn't have many. Plenty of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Kit Kats left but I think my son will finish them off in no time!

I've lived here for over ten years now, and have never had one trick or treater.
Of course that's perfectly fine, I still buy five bags of candy every year!! Snickers Reeses Kit Kat's Hersey's with Almonds Almond Joy Of course, those popcorn balls sound good. I didn't know anyone still made those. Mom used to, she'd make about three different colors. |

I had heard it was canceled here because of the Flu, but 1 group of three came to the door, but I didn't have any candy.
Went to a party instead!!! |

Seriously, I went to a party that was mostly held in the front yard of a home in a nice neighborhood. There were hundreds of trick or treaters. The homeowner made a comment that families would come from many miles away because the "pickin's were good". He had a little booth in his yard next to the street where children from people at the party passed out candy to the children walking by on the street.
I did not pass out any jello shots although a few were passed out to me. |

Halloween is not what it use to be. When I moved here 20 years ago we would have 200 kids each year. Now we are lucky to get 30. Our school district has grown but yet there are less kids Trick or Treating so I figure parents can't be bothered. Sad for the kids because when my boys were small they just loved it!

It turned out fun here....At first none... (my apartments sits in the back of the house and noone can really see our lights). Then my sons and their friends came home.
My 12 yr old was dressed as a giant hotdog and my 16 yr old had on some crazy monster jester mask & hat. We all sat out in front. They staged a little show where 16 yr old kept coming up and picking up the giant hotdog boy and carrying him off in the dark backyard screaming. The little kids & parents got a kick out of it and the boys & thier friends all had a blast and all my candy got given away!! YEAHHHH! My kids so rock! |

Went to a party in a upper scale neighbor hood. Saw tricker treaters coming from a house, and get onto the tailgate of a SUV waiting whom proeceeded to drive them to the next house. No...Halloween and kids are not what it used to be. I still have all my Halloween pencils was gonna give out.
