trying taking it to any local head shops... see if they'll let you sell your stuff in their store.

When I was way younger, I took my stuff to art fairs. You should be able to find out where they are on line. Community events.

Try etas.com. You can set up a website free and sell your stuff there.

Talking to other crafters I have found selling what I make versus stuff I bought really isn't all that different.

Might be a little late in the season to try to get into them now but some of the Christmas Fairs at schools and churches will let you sell for a percentage.

Some of the Charities or even Malls will feature your jewlery in fashion shows.

Depending how expensive your jewlery is you can donate a piece as a prize and maybe get pictures of it in a chairity Newsletters or Magazines. Especially if you give them the PR photos and news releases.

I have found by how I present/package my jewlery for sale makes a big difference. I have sold earrings and rings mounted in easter eggs, wedding favors candy tins, small picture frames, hung on the edge of champagne flutes, or on the edge of a big brandy snifter filled with potpourri, little velvet or lace bags, or hung from branches of evergreens or ting ting. Large scented pinecones make a good display for bracelets.

Useing your computer to print off cards that say "Hand made especially for you" tied with velvet or satin ribbon seems to promote gift sales. Useing seasonal shapes for cards such as hearts, shamrocks, stars, tophat make them part of and eye catching display.

I usually get at least two orders for every pair of earrings I donate to the Cancer thrift shop that I sell on pink triangel folded imprinted "A gift for you, in honor of a donation in your name to the American Cancer Society." with my web address.

I have had good luck making mini catologs out of small picture albums from the dollar store and giving hairdressers, massage therapists, or trusted friends a commission on the orders they take. I just usually get tired of making the same thing over and over. It can be bad if you get more orders than you have inventory.

I too make jewelry and as of now I sell mine in a museum gift shop (some will offer consignment) also the holidays there should be a lot of craft events don't pay too much for a table, under $50 for a table if possiable. I pay $10 to $35 I sell enough to make my money back plus some... (if I sell one necklace I've most likely made my money back)

Events/Festivals/Craft/shows and flea markets are one of the best places to sell your items. I have had a bit less buying but, it's still worth it to me..(depending upon the price of your jewelry) But note: I also sell beads/rings/necklaces and other items at these events, not just jewelry.. I do have my bead store closed at the moment due to remodeling but, I accepted consignment so, you might check with your local shops to see if one in your area would sell your jewelry on consignment..

Good Luck!!

Good luck on that one. Lots of people making beaded stuff. No way to sell it for anywhere near what it's worth. If you get back the cost of materials you are doing good. Been there done that.
