Organization

She said I stressed her out
I organized her space
She's not going to quit smoking
She was a prisoner for nine years.
NOBODY is ever gonna lay a hand on her
AGAIN.
I watch from a distance as her little ones
climb into her lap, fretful and tired.
They left to go see Daddy.
I straightened the room.
Started laundry. Sat with my cup of coffee
I looked through the only album left.
Tears streaming as I saw once more,
Innocence and demure.
Yes, I stressed her out,
She will not stop...
