Hi All, I know I haven't been on much lately but have been busy getting ready for my move! As many of you know I am moving to Maine, a dream come true for me. I am emotionally tired now as well as physically but at long last the end of this part is almost here! Movers due tomorrow morning between 8-10. In a few hours I shall unplug the last of my electronics so will be off line until my new services are set up on Nov 4th. So just wanted to say bye for now, you all are the best! When you see me next I will be beginning a new chapter of my life in my dream location! Oh, and I will have finally seen my new house for the first time! LOLOLOL, yea I am maybe a little crazy. Bought a house without seeing it except for those chopped up oics on the real estate site, my folks have seen it though....

Well welome to the Mid-Coast area!! I'm about 30 miles North of Rockland in Northport. You're going to love the Rockland area it's gorgeous...esp Camden and Rockport.

The leaves are still beautiful so they'll be welcoming you...and as long as the sun is out the days have been nice and the nights have been cold. No true "frost" yet...but it's coming...SOON!!!

Rockland has one of the BEST Goodwills EVER! (I'm a thrift store junkie...) And in downtown there's a great second hand book store you'll have to check out! The Farnsworth Museum is beautiful...The Grasshopper Shop is fun fun fun!!!

Maine is such a pretty place...I used to live there all my life until 4 years ago. But my family and I always go back to visit grandma every year

My folks live in Rockland so I have seen it several times, yes The Farnsworth is beautiful! I am a thrift store junkie so so will definitely check out the Goodwill, that is one place I haven't been...among many others...The YMCA in Rockport (or is it Camden) is really great too, hoping to get a job there in the day care, also can't wait to start swimming again - their pools are fab!!

Funny I am 10-11 hours south and we have had frost and snow!

I was born and lived in Washington DC so I do understand the draw of city life...all the diversity etc etc but I have dreamed of living on the ocean for as long as I can remember....I didn't get exactly on the coast but 2/10 of a mile from a small beach is really closer than I ever thought possible! Thanks to my Dad for a small but enough inheritance! He died 20 years ago, his wife passed this spring so we are just now getting our inheritance from him....so thanks Dad for helping to make a dream come true!
