Why does it seem that it is a social taboo to be curvy? I don't really get it... As a latin woman, I can't exactly shy away from being curvy either.
 Ya know, women who model tend to be abnormally thin... and their dimmensions are meant to be small simply because the person [model] is not what matters to the designer let alone the industry...it's the clothes....and in my view, curvy women can be just as sexy if not SEXIER than those model-esque types. I guess my issue here is that as a curvy gal, I feel like im always going to be viewed at least socially, as "not good enough." That self-consciousness ultimately hinders my dating scene...and that SUCKS.  Comments are appreciated. lol

you are a buitifull woman. and curvy is buitifull. I know how you feel I have lost a lot of wieght when I was at my heiviest I didnt get a lot of second looks I dont understand that I am the same person as I was before.but when i was heavier i did not feel good about myself and that showed thro. you seem like a wounderfull person when people get to know you they will see that. You have to beleive you are buitifull and a wounderfull person.

That's a cultural thing; as you said, in the Latin culture, women are curvy, the same is true in the black culture. It's mainly the white culture that puts an emphasis on being thin, but even some of them prefer curvy women. I guess it depends on what type of man you're trying to date as to whether he'll be accepting of your size?

I don't get it either. I think you and curvy ladies in general are gorgeous!

some like em short some like em big some like em skinny some like em dark some like em light there's no more sense in looking down on someone for what they like than there is in looking down on someone for what they is or what they aint |
