Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Thelemites are the ones who believe in just one law only and that is:
"Do as thy Will" "Shall be the whole of the law" They believe that no one should stop someone doing their will, whatever it may be. Every man, Every woman, is equal. They are shining stars of the universe and are trying to recondition the world. One should not get in ones way. They are not devil worshippers but many have the notion that we are. they worship the divine entity, The God and Goddess Thats all I could find out on the internet,,, |

Wikkipedia: Thelemites
This Thelemic Law of Rabelais was revived by Aleister Crowley[5] in 1904 when Crowley wrote The Book of the Law, which contains both the word Thelema in Greek as well as the phrase "Do what thou wilt." From this, Crowley took Thelema as the name of the philosophical, mystical and religious system which he subsequently developed, which includes ideas from occultism, Yoga, and both Eastern and Western mysticism (especially the Qabalah).[6] Thus Shri Gurudev Mahendranath, in speaking of svecchachara, a Sanskrit term which he considered the eastern equivalent of the term Thelema, wrote that "Rabelais, Dashwood, and Crowley must share the honor of perpetuating what has been such a high ideal in most of Asia."[5] |

I've often thought I could start a new religion. Used to discuss it
with friends. Even started writing a book about it once. But then I grew and I understood that what it all boils down to is one simple thing. Each person has a need to have a concept that defines them and individuals in this world, while still, somehow maintaining their universality. That, to me, is the purpose. And if it reflects some peace that one finds within their beliefs, then society as whole live in that reflection and may just find a way to reflect that peace back again. |

Nice post Red.
My peace radiate from you. The problem with 'Do as Thou Wilt' is that it only works in perfect solution with perfect people. Ever met one of those. Perfect people I mean. What I could see happening is my 'do as Thou Wilt' will interfere with someone elses 'Do as Thou Wilt' and peace will 'wilt' like an unwatered flower. Such a thing would become only the strongest can have 'as Thou Wilt' and the rest would serve that strongest. No thanks. |

Where's the guy who posted forum? He should be able to break it
down Or Red could.. |

Ok, you people are scaring me here.
'Do what thou wilt'? There's a slippery slope. Judge: 'Why did you kill all those people?' Defendent: "I believed 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.' So I did." |
