or a knight reaching for my heart
will he be gone when the winds blow
or hold me tight to never part

Is he a phantom in the night
looking for one's heart to steal
with his mystical soul reaching words
that have a mysterious appeal

Is he the one, the man in my dreams
eyes looking in mine warm with love
only a glance, not so much as a touch
as if telling me I was his beloved

So if your a phantom of the night
just please go your own way
for this tattered locked up heart
will be more torn and begin to fray

But if you are the loving knight
reaching out for my tattered heart
reaching your hand out to mine
bringing me home to never part

Then you can work your loving ways
into the depths of my lost soul
and with blessings from up above
perhaps be as one, as a whole

Evening fell on my Virginia home
As I walked among the trees
Thinking only of your angelic face
As I felt the cold of autumn breeze

Fall wind whistled through the pines
As if to speak your name
Breaking the silence and this solitude
Where I alone remain

I am intoxicated by your smile
Enamoured by your charm
You fill my days now with reverent smiles
Long since absent on this virginia farm

Yet you ponder if I am true and real
Or this Phantom in the night
So now I beg of you to ask yourself
Would such a phantom hold to you so tight?

Though many miles lay between us
Were not indulged the gift of sight
I assure you this nobel heart beats but for you
I remain yours, Not Phantom But Dark Knight.

Sorry to doubt you
oh sweet knight
every word you say
brings me delight

Please forgive my fears
one day they'll subside
for you're touching my heart
my fears cast aside

morn, noon & night
a touch from you
from the dark knight

Through November Mist

Only in my most poetic dreams
Have I encountered beauty such as yours
Through November Mist I can see your smile
Holding open Heavens doors

You come to me in the dark of night
Take my hand and chase away the pain
An angelic gift from God above
With you I'm home again

For niether storms of life or satans wand
Could Seperate my love for you
A bond strengthened with heavens grace
Time honored, tested, tried, and true.

And as you walk with me in my dreams
I think no more of time we've missed
Ill just embrace you never wanting to let go
