They said that she got the flu 10 days after the flu shot. People can't get the flu from the flu shot.

I can't say it makes me scared or angry...sad yes.

I've worked in emergency services for over 15 years. Every year roughly 35,000 die from influenza or ILI (Influenza like illness), Vs. roughly 600 people who have severe reactions to the flu shot causing death. Keep in mind that these numbers are world wide.
It has already been confirmed that getting the regular seasonal flu shot this year will significantly increase your chances of contracting the H1N1 strain unless you also receive the H1N1 vaccine.

I'm neither for or against people getting flu shots - I just worry that too many people base their decisions on propaganda pumped out by both the FDA and the fear mongering Anti inoculation groups.

The "flu" shot is neither as safe as the FDA claims nor is it even remotely as unsafe as the natural medicine people claim.

I would suggest, before getting vaccinated that people consult their doctors - especially if you have any allergies or sensitivities to metals or moulds.

600 deaths, but what about all the auto-immune diseases caused by them. It's impossible to calculate, but probably MUCH more than 35,000.

You'll notice that this woman didn't die, but maybe it'd be better for her if she did. I wouldn't want to go through life in her condition.

Does anyone remember the 1976 debacle?

Video saddened me as I feel bad for her.

But was it her choice to get the vaccine? She suffered a reaction to it.

A flu shot is a a small dose of flu. Some people will not be able to handle it, it all depends on the immune system. The doctors can make the wrong dose and cause more harm than good. My ex g/f got so sick of a flu shot, that she was in bed for weeks.

I have never gotten a flu shot. Only Tuberculosis shot when I was a baby. That's why I always come up positive with TB check, and after a long messing around explaining and showing my TB shot, they finally settle that I do not have TB.

I am not looking forward any sort of flu shot or swine flu shot, they can stick themselves with it a 100 times, I am not volunteering to be sick.

I actually agree with OP - I am not a fan of the vaccines.

Everything we put into our bodies has the possibility to give us a reaction. Some positive and some not so positive reactions.

Atlantis, I know of several people who to this day their testing come back positive for TB due to the vaccine.

The thing is with the TB, that when they are testing, they are also giving a tiny dose of medically engineered something. They want to see how your body reacts to it, and those people who had TB shots when they were a baby, the reaction is a lot different (red circle), showing the evidence of TB, which is minimal and irrelevant but still shows. Actually "us" TB babies are pretty much immune to TB due to this, or at least there won't be severe sickness from it.

Atlantis,

The shots don't have the live flu virus in them. They quit doing that years ago. I think that nasal sprays do though.

If people get sick near the time of the flu shot, that means that they were exposed to the flu before the shot and/or before the shot built up their antibodies toward the flu. Also, the regular flu shots don't cover each and every type of flu.

I've been getting the flu shots yearly for 20 years and haven't had the flu yet.

Sorry to hear about your ex-g/f getting so sick.flowerforyou

I never got the flu until the flu shot lol.

I didn't get it from the shot, I just found it ironic that I got it after getting the flu shot. I should have trusted my body and not gotten it lol

I do, and I wasn't even born then. More people got sick or worse from the vaccines back then, then those who ever got the flu to begin with. Coincidence? I don't think so. Connect the dots people, those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it.

As for those who argue about the effects of this flu now, I think to some degree it is overhyped and oversold so that people will take the vaccine or nasal spray out of fear, something that has been working at least on some level evidently. I'm not trying to undermine the flu in saying that, but people get it every year, and people die from it every year. Vaccine or not, that isn't changing.

It's not about putting trust into "these" people. It's about common sense.

Everybody knows that almost every medical procedure, every medical test, every shot, and every surgery has risks. Even dental work has risks.

People have different ages, different metabolisms, different allergies, different organ functioning levels, different weights, etc. Medicine isn't a "one size fits all".

It's up to us to be educated about the risks and weigh the pros and cons of those risks.

I understand that, but are you gonna trust yourself or trust these people who really don't care that much for you and just want you to give in to their wishes? Why do you think it is being made such a big deal to not take these things?

What happened to that girl is very sad.

Do you really think that people want Americans to die or become disabled? What would be the point of that?

This is the reality. A person has more of a chance of getting killed in a car accident then they have of having problems with flu shots.

I don't know that I can answer why they'd want to do this, but I do know that our government and the media at large is not what you may think it is.
