No shots for me thanks, don't trust them, no way, no how, I think it's poison quite frankly, why do you think they want to get the pregnant, young and elderly first? Because those are the ones who can become more easily sick (not to mention that the pregnant ones have a child growing inside them). It has nothing to do with our health or benefits at all and never really has. I know some of you won't believe me, but that's the truth.

Sometimes you just have to laugh at the way people choose to communicate or express themselves.
Sorry I don't have time to get into a pissing match right now. I'm too busy making decisions regarding my children. Their school now has at least 2 confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus and us parents are spending our time praying for the sick children and keeping an eye on our own for symptoms. Those that know me well know why I made the decision I did regarding the vaccines. Like they say, unless you've walked a mile in their shoes.......... |

They're getting the children first because they are the majority of people that are dying from the swine flu. Older people aren't dying from it as much as children are because their antibodies were built up against when it came around previously. Now if you're talking about the regular flu shot, darn right they're getting the elderly people. Their health is already compromised and they can't risk getting pneumonia. I make sure that my 71-year-old father that has Emphysema and severe COPD gets the flu shot every year. I'm not taking the chance of losing him to the flu. |

I find it kind of of ironic that if the government wanted volunteers to test a new drug that they have no idea what the long term health effects are you probably wouldn't get 20 volunteers.Most people would find volunteering for this insane and stupid yet you have people lining up in record numbers because 80+ people died because of this swine flu.Yet 30,000 plus die from the flu every year.I would say your chances of dying from the swing flu are so low you would have a better chance they dying from just about anything else on this planet.Yet your chances of dying or becoming disabled by trying a experimental medicine are probably far more greater than 1 in 80 and it's probably more like 1 in 10.
Trust your government??? Anyone remember agent orange? Anyone remember the Gulf war syndrome? Government holds the companies that make this vaccine immune from lawsuits.That should raise red flags. |

Let me ask you something, when he gets these flu shots, how do they effect him? Does he get sick after having taken it? He has never had any negative affects from the flu shot and he has been receiving them for years. The same goes for me and my mom and my child. I've been getting them for about 20 years. Now that I have a child, it's even more important for him to get the flu shot. My child brings home germs from school. They are contagious before they show symptoms. We could be visiting my father and my child could get him sick before my child acts sick. I said this on the other thread. This is the reality. People have more chances of dying in car accident then they do of having anything bad happen to them from the shot. |

You don't even have to watch the whole thing, but watch starting at 6 minutes, you will see a prominent doctor speaking about the flu vaccine and getting his shot on the BBC, and then shortly thereafter he smiles and gives a slight wink.
