im out of the marine corp. and i gotta say it is bitter sweet
1:IM OUT!!! 
2:medical discharge  busted my back carrying a 100 pound pack up some freakin mountain
3:it hurts 
4:who kows how long it will take for me to recover 
5:....did i mention....IM OUT!

Semper Fi, listen to these people. Hit the VA up for everything. Don't screw around with a back injury. Let it heal. You may feel like a lima delta, but don't give in to that now. You are out. Once a Marine always a Marine, but use your head now grunt. Good luck. At least you didn't get that Big Chicken Dinner!

I would IMMEDIATELY get ahold of Paralyzed Veterans of America and get one of their spinal cord injury specilists to help you make sure you get every benifit you are entitled to. Welcome back to the world. |
