Don't worry the antennae are retractable and he can always wear shades to cover the big dark eyes. He'll look pretty normal. But going through the anti-gravity teen years can be a real b!@#$.

Ok ... Hmmmm ... Feel like the only one that took anatomy here ...

That is the soft spot, exposing the brain, before the cranial bones suture shut w/ the cartilaginous meshing that closed all our craniums over the course of our childhoods ...

The bones are sutured w/ cartilage vs. bone, that the cerebral spinal pump can pump the CSF fluid to bathe the brain, much like a battery is kept wet and, so, electric. They also allow there to be some swelling in injury and infection, to protect the brain from pressure.

The CSF pump is tailbone to cranium, contained w/in the dura matter encasement, and the area of importance and approach in' Cranio~Sacral Therapy'.

There should remain some fluidity between the sutures as a respiration cycle of the cranium throughout our daily lives ...

... Fixed, lack of this movement is the root of many problems and often caused through head, tailbone and other injuries trauma.

drinker ... It is that open now, to grow the brain!

... Baby looks healthy and ever so young, T ... Congrats! ... flowerforyou

So what we are seeing in that ultrsound is the fontanelle developing, and the four plates?

it does look different to how I recall....but guess it depends on how many weeks old the little person is...

Do "Starchildren" have any special dietary requirements?

Vegan lettuce with Mars salad dressing. I hope you got that, otherwise he will destroy you.

I am not sure how soon in the US gender is able to be positively identified, via ultrasound....here it is 18 weeks plus... I think that may be what was throwing me...this pic looks like a much younger little person.

That depends on the season. Feeding him moon pie at the wrong season= he will glow in the dark. And a possibility of heavy german accent.
