I wouldn't really care either way, I don't think. Just like the whole "my man" thing isn't a big deal. I just think it's funny that some men are making it into a huge deal.

Guys, how do you feel when the woman you are dating refers to you as

'My Man'??????

It makes me feel like King of the World.

It's not what her words say that counts (words can say so much but also mean nothing), it's how she looks at me and how her heart calls me that is important to me.

Her actions match her words.

Aye Aye! drinker

These women here making fun of this whole thing will remain single, because they won't realize the importance of if they wanna be treated as a queen, they also must treat "their man" as a king, not a disposable napkin.

I find it hard to believe some of us are single because of not calling someone "my man."

No, not specifically those words, but just the fact that someone would vehemently oppose ever calling her boyfriend anything like that , tells all about a person, who is afraid to go to such a level of trust and connection.

Let that be "My Man" or "My Lady", "my treasure" , "my love".

I'm single by choice, not because I don't refer to someone as "my man." Personally I think it's a tacky thing to say, but to each his/her own.drinker

Ok, how about "My love" ?

I like that...my love has a nice ring to it.

I will confess my "ex-man" had his own personal voice prompt on my old phone.......Open up the phone and say "a$$hole" and it dialed him. Imagine that. To this day when he calls me he gets to listen to 10 seconds of "Here's a quarter, call someone who cares" (his own personal ring-back tone). I really should change that, soooooo immature...laugh.
