Hi Jayne And no turkey for me ,,,it was steak and shrimp lol Where's your sense of tradition? Or don't you like turkey? Steak and shrimp sounds great to me ! Although I must say that at Thanksgiving (and Christmas !) I have to have my turkey. Hi Wayne For me its turkey at Thanksgiving and Prime Rib Roast for Christmas Our Thanksgiving is traditional. Our Christmas is quite creative... It takes place usually about Dec 28 or 29 when my brothers and families can make it in...somehow over the past few years, I have become the matriarch Everybody makes something, in my kitchen, so it's cozy and has to be creative time scheduling, so we have a variety of dishes and two entrees, but always have turkey, grilled outside on my Weber grill. For my family, that has become tradition. Sounds nice Jan. I know what you mean about changing the day. When my kids were younger, Christmas lasted all week by the time they saw everyone. This year will be quieter tho cause the family is spread all over the country

Hi Carole ,,,hows the day going ,,or should i say the nite Going good, just back from dinner and walmarts, starting to rain here.. we had snow on the weekend and coming thru minnisota yesterday they were under a winter storm watch I am not looking forward to that... Oldest daughter is coming in Fri from the Denver area.. she's seen the snow already!!
