We watched the movie "Gifted Hands" with Cuba Gooding Jr. Really good movie, but I think true stories make the best movies

Ah yes, Ben Carson. Good man

Nicholas Sparks who wrote "The Notebook" is my favorite author. I haven't had a lot of time for reading lately but when I do I love to sit with one of his books. Trouble is I have to do it when I have plenty of time cause I never want to put it downlaugh laugh

I have that problem as well....I have been known to sit down with a fascinating book and spend hours in it. It was a problem when I worked nights. I could read all day, catch about an hour's nap, then be up working all night. I have been told that sometimes makes me goofy,
whatever that means...laugh
I know Jan. I have stayed up all night reading a good book and hate myself the next daylaugh laugh

I enjoyed the movie, "The Notebook", but have never read the book. Is it better than the movie, like most books that get filmed? If it is, I may have to read it.

I think so but then I am a Nicholas Sparks junkie. Did you ever see "Message in a Bottle"? Another of his books that was made into a movie
