Here's my take:

It doesn't matter.

'Yes' girl, 'no' girl.

Life's a *****
and then you marry one.

Relationships again, It's all in how you treat the other person. I
always say treat them like you would want to be treated the old adage
and then if it goes south you have nothing to feel guilty about it
unless your vindictive. If you feel a need to retaliate then there
might me a problem and you need to rexamine yourself and methods before
your go out and try to upset your self and someone else. Bottom line
examine yourself and ask am I the kind of person I would be looking for?
And always try to be truthful!

It don't matter if it's a yes or no girl, life is life and everyone is
differint. So it don't matter if your friend was a yes girl or not. Id
take a bet they would of still got a divorced. AH
comunincation, share, giving, etc etc is a big part of any relationship and
even at time we have to give a little more then the other. So it don't
matter if it's a yes girl or no girl if your not looking to build a
relationship it's not going to work.

 WOW,,I think Shadow and Chopper covered it well.
I would only say that NO man, OR NO woman, can be put in any GENERAL
OPINION,,,as we are ALL, very special people and WE ALL are DIFFERENT,
so to say all men, ONE COULD NEVER SAY "THAT".
Thats why finding YOUR special person is so damm hard,,lol
They may have some GREAT THINGS that you love in them,,,?
But not EVERY LITTLE THING in them to make YOU FEEL,,that they COMPLETE
YOU FULLY?? flowerforyou  smokin

I can't speak for all men, but speaking for myself:

I would never want a "yes" girl. I want a free thinking woman with a
great personality, self confidence and ambition in life. I can't say I
like to argue, but a difference in opinion can often lead to a
compromise that better benefits both of us. Noone is right all the time,
we all need someone there to broaden our horizens

Here is my 2 cents on this topic:

Seems to me that men most likely want what women want:

Someone who -
will kill them with kindness
love them unconditionally (even with their flaws)
show them romance - often!!
show them compassion
be a true partner in the relationship/compromise with them
communicate with them
surprise them with treats (everybody loves surprises)
be their rock during their hard times (a soft place to land)
be faithful and never cheat on them
make love to them like they are the only person in the world
don't lie to them
put them first and foremost in your life
make sure they know they are loved and often!!

I am sure there are more, but this is what I thought of to start with.

Isn't that what everyone wants?

That was my thoughts - was why I posted it. Not just men, but women
too.

What do men want?

That's a rather broad topic to say the least.

All men, just like all women, want something different. It could be
purely physical attractions, or mental, or emotional... the list goes
on.

For every different type of personality that's out there, there's a man
who wants that. And there are many different personalities out there!

I want someone who can turn me on mentally, emotionally, physically,
intellectually... I want a woman who has everything (to include a brain,
tongue, and "spine").

But being 25, you can't find that without her wanting to get drunk all
the time. So I look for older women. Problem is most older women want
an older man, or someone closer to their own age.

I'm not talking 40s and 50s. More like late 20s to early 30s.

I can't tell you what "men" want. I can only tell you what I want.
Anyone who says "Men only want this..." is lying. That's just like
saying "Women only want this." Not all women are in to muscle-bound
sports freaks who have lots of loose cash, flashy cars, and a big house.
Many women want someone who's not the arrogant showoff described in the
last sentence.

If you're not having any luck meeting men where you normally go to meet
them, try changing venues. Instead of bars, nightclubs, and lounges
(just as common examples), why not book stores, coffee houses, or the
supermarket?

If he doesn't have any kids in tow, no ring, but a shopping cart full of
food, that says that he's most likely single, kids are grown (if they
exist), and he knows how to cook... for you. :)

Nice cut and paste job....do you keep it in file???

I read that same post in CS like three months ago...

Saves typing and being original I guess...no need re-inventing the
wheel, I guess....did it work at the other site???laugh laugh

If you were referring to my post, I don't know if that person on CS took
it. Never got back to me.

But if someone asks a question that was asked before, then the same
answers are going to keep coming in.

I'm trying to give a different perspective as to what is really going
down.

And it wasn't a cut-and-paste job. I'm sure there are some similarities
in it. I won't deny that.

But if the advice I give to men on a completely different site works
(and I do get feedback from them), why not tweak it a bit and try to get
it to work for women as well?

If what you're doing is getting what you always got, why not try and
change what you're doing to get something different?

That's my approach to it. While a lot of what I give could be taken as
"blanket advice" I do try and tailor it to the individual when enough
details are present. If I can help a guy get a girlfriend, why not help
a woman get a boyfriend?
