Alright here i am......lolol...well at least grays cute anyways.

I had an incredible 3/4 dalmation 1/4 lab I had to put down last summer,
she was my best friend, protector, was always there for me. Miss her
terribly still.

She jumped off the bed and did something really bad to her back, and
started screaming. Anyway, the vet couldn't fix, wasn't sure what it
was, wanted hundreds of dollars, which I didn't have to maybe or maybe
not fix, so brought her home. She was okay for awhile but then her legs
would give out on her walking across the floor and she would scream in
pain, and coming in from outside she would jump up to make the steps and
her legs would buckle and she would hit the steps and cry out. I just
couldn't take her suffering anymore, finally had to put her down. Was
the hardest thing I ever did.

That is a big cat, is it a Maine Coon???

noooooooo I dont think that is a maine coone because I have a maine
coone cat and that doesnt look anything like mine.

Just big and healthy. My friend raised some, first time I had seen
them. Big cats, wow.

OMG, NO EFFIN WAAAAAAY!! My Isaac (my kitty) is my baby. He's almost 6
and I've had him since he was 5 weeks old!! He's sooo sweet and
beautiful! I could NEVER EVER EVER give him up for some cruddy guy who
couldn't appriciate the fact that I love him so much. If the guy is so
allergice that he can't be around him I say this: Get allergy meds or go
outside! My kitty STAYS! For cryin out loud, we aren't even allowed pets
and I am willing to risk homelessness to have him with me!! That cat is
too special to me to ever even consider the possiblity! Matter of fact,
thats a screening process for dating, i always ask if they are allergic
to cats and if they like them. If they say NO, then they are a NO! I
know that one day my Isaac will no longer be here with me, but I will
ALWAYS have cats, I love them!

I have one grey and white cat that is half manx/half himalayan and the
other is a maine coone cat which looks like a verrrrry long haired
tabby. Both have such long hair that I have to pick up the clumps of
cat fur when I get home from work

I had a friend who liked me for years and when he came over, he would
see me petting and hugging and kissing my cat and he would say, " I wish
I was one of your cats" lol

wasn`t trying to tell sad story`s ---just friends i miss--(true friends)
well in my world anyway-2dogs & 3 horses---------------------------but
now i have 3 dogs & still have 3 horses

Aww sorry and hugs marie....So sorry for your loss.
One thing around here ....er vet usually recommend pts if your pet has a
serious condition...without giving you alot of options. yeah and the
cost i know what you mean too...gray probably put me back about 800 over
the 2 1/2 months he was not well.
Gray isnt a main coon...just a big kitty

I also have 2 other cats....Snoopy and Luna.....Snoopy is either part or
mostly maine coon....yeah the long hair knots up easily and always
cutting little clumps of matted fur off him.
cant really comb him too much hes really playful and decides to do the
jaws of death power chomp on my arm in playing....lol

Sounds like cool animals, grew up on a farm and miss it terribly. Have
my mom's spoiled little 6 pound poodle now, and my daughter's cat.
Grrrrrrrr. Want a big dog again, but need to wait to see where I end up
living, am going to sell the house, so need to find out where I end up,
renting, whatever, etc.

Okay--I guess I am the only one, but for the right person, if I was
really in love...I would give up my pet.

Never would I give up my pets for anybody. It's a package deal just like
if I have children. The pets are part of my family.
