Mom is still here yet but in relatively poor health. congestive heart
failure and some other issues. so i know that could come in the not to
far future

I also have 2 other cats....Snoopy and Luna.....Snoopy is either part or
mostly maine coon....yeah the long hair knots up easily and always
cutting little clumps of matted fur off him.
cant really comb him too much hes really playful and decides to do the
jaws of death power chomp on my arm in playing....lol

Aww sorry and hugs marie....So sorry for your loss.
One thing around here ....er vet usually recommend pts if your pet has a
serious condition...without giving you alot of options. yeah and the
cost i know what you mean too...gray probably put me back about 800 over
the 2 1/2 months he was not well.
Gray isnt a main coon...just a big kitty

Ok i suppose sometime i ll put up a pic of me and gray kitty.
This cat was just a big baby.....in his prime he was nearly 30 lbs. and
the friendliest and mellowest ive ever seen.
His idea of a big day was to get pet....eat a can of food, and lay back
down. Was cute too because after he took a long nap he would greet you
again as if you were the one that was gone awhile.
Yeah sometimes pets can tell when your having a down day and cheer you
up.

I wouldnt give up my cats for anyone , nor give up on them when they are
sick either. I lost my kitty baby gray in feb after dealing with kidney
failure for 2 1/2 months. It took alot to keep him going, IV fluids 2x
a day, and other medicines every 12 hours. on really bad days i needed
to assist feed him too. I had friends say why dont you just put him to
sleep and get another cat...:(( I quickly found out how insensitive some
people can be about pets. incidently if anyone else is going thru a
kitty with CRF i might be able to offer some assistance as well.
As if no one can tell my pets are as important as friends and those
close to me too.
