That is not my experience with local guys.

Either they assume if you are online you are basiclly easy OR they want to drag out meeting like they don't have the you know what to ask for a coffee date after asking the basics.

Or they think they get months of your exclusive attention calling and emailing and then if you do not meet their fantasies they dump you and cry you are so different in person.

I get the idea of not telling people you meet on line information that would compromise your saftey but some are just playing games.

Well I think it is rude to laugh at an invitation but maybe if you walked up out of the blue and asked me out I would maybe laugh too because it would kind of make me nervouse and a little fearful that a total stranger thought I would just get in a car and go some where with them. Maybe starting out with "You are really pretty and nice and I would like to talk to you someday when you are not busy with your friends." Then hand her a note with your name and number.
