Topic: What are the Works of God?

Just a wee bit curious as to what each of us thinks the works of God are.

That's a question that requires broad answers lol. Miracles,healing, blessings are works of God.

Do you bless your meal? Or ask for God to Bless it for you? Or perhaps thank God because it is on the table?

All of the above man. I thank him for food on the table, and ask him to bless the food. I thank Him for providing for me. I'm in a city with homeless people everywhere. I never take anything for granted. I give and pray to give what I can

I thank Jesus for making it possible for me to have that meal. In His name, I ask for the meat to be blessed, if I have meat. I have been getting farther and farther from meat for some reason. Kat

I bless the meal so that I may not be taking anything unclean in my body. I do not thank him for the meal. My faith in him tells me that he will provide for me therefor He does not need my thanks for He is God and knows my faith.

Aye but with all the things needing his attention why would I burden him with my thanks for something he has promised to do if I have faith. For if I stop and thank him each time he grants me something do I really have faith? My faith is strong. I know he guides my steps. Therefore I know each step is the right one for he will never steer me wrong. Where God is evil can not be.

Okay stop right there....~PAUSE~ Rewind.. Why would it be a burden to give God the glory and praise He deserves? I agree where there is God, evil cannot be such as sin

The things he does for us he does out of love and cuz he WANTS to..he doesnt HAVE to do anything..the very least we can do is say thank you
