Do you just drift through your day and your life or do you know exactly what you want?

If you know exactly what you want, what are you doing to get it?

I have exactly what I want.

What is it that I want from this lifetime?

Health....both physical and mental, and I have the opportunity from my location to provide that.

A safe and intimate community.

Friends...a whole village full of similar minded folk.

Family...people who love without condition.

Consciousness...gratitude and compassion for this place I call home...the common address of us all.

Contribution...although I am dispensible...I feel I contribute to the greater good of the all.

BEING a lighter footprint, and a softer touch,

is what I want from this lifetime, and is exactly what I have.

I know exactly what I want in terms of my own ongoing creative efforts, because that is the most important thing in life to me.

Knowing what I want, and being able to get it, are totally different things.

I can't even be sure if what I want is obtainable, much less having a clue of how to go about getting it.

One thing I'd like to have is health. I do what I can toward maintaining the best health I can. Yet my efforts thus far appear to have been for naught.

The other things I want pretty much depend on the health part. So if I can't get the health part right the rest seems pretty illusive.

So I guess health would be my primary desire.

In truth I think I have a lot better health than I would if I wasn't working toward having good health. Just the same, it's not nearly at the level that I "Want". And you specifically asked what I "want" so that's it.

At least for starters anyway. It's pretty hard to think about other things when you aren't physically feeling well.

I agree. I think good health should be the first priority for anyone. Some people take their good health for granted and blunder through life doing things that are not conducive to good health, then when they get sick or injured they wonder why. People who continue to smoke and drink are a good example.

Education is crucial to maintaining good health, and exercise and eating right etc. Knowing what improves your health rather than the opposite is the education part.

A person gets up in the morning and drinks their coffee and smokes their cigarette and skips breakfast and they might go to work and wonder why they are tired by noon. People eat too much and they eat the wrong foods that tax their bodies.

Health is # 1 and should be priority #1.

These are the things that effect your health the most in their order of importance:

1. The thoughts that you think
2. The air that you breathe
3. The water that you drink
4. The food that you eat
5. The exercise you do.

Like anything else, attracting wealth begins in the way you think and believe.

agreed. the rub is my thoughts and beliefs have not attracted wealth. i need to cheat just a little bit. my desire is to gain wealth without harming others in any way. of course this is not possible entirely. so my dreams likewise are impossible. nobody ever gets hurt in my dreams.

Yes it is possible. Your BELIEF that it is "not possible" is manifesting into your reality.

It is possible. Its called "win win." It is the creative way of creating wealth as apposed to the competitive way. (Wallace D. Wattles, The Science of Getting Rich.) You can find that on wikipedia.

Your belief (and statement) that your beliefs have not attracted wealth has manifested just as you have stated and believe.

i've read wattles. and he overlooks several important facts about markets to make his win/win argument. the reality is, if i buy a stock and end up making money, i took advantage of a seller who made a bad descision. if i lose money, i was taken by a seller who had seen a trend or even made a guess that it was time to sell and i was the unlucky bastard who happened along. no such animal as win/win exists.
