I had a couple long distance relationships on and off of mingle the work pretty good but no matter the distance you still have the same problems. Again it's about finding the right person for you. Just hope my next relationship last more than 6 months

The rule of Murphy does dictate that the most desirable ones will live in another country or, at the very least, in a different time zone.

It can work out if one of you is mobile and prepared to move. You really do need to spend a lot of face-to-face time together.

I've done it and it doesn't 'have' to be that hard ... but I don't think I would do it again though.

Good luck to you.

Last person I met here... when I got there, was like 100lbs. more in person than in her (very old) profile pictures... and had an emotional/psychological problem of pulling out her hair by the roots as she watched TV... so her profile picture showed this big, sexy, poofy hair-do... but when she crashed out for the night, she took off the wig, and was nearly bald... and went about the house all day the next day with one of those Jewish-type caps, which covered the spot where she pulled all her hair out from

I sincerely swore off ever meeting anybody from one of these dating sites after that... no way, no how... not in a million freaking years, ever... unh-uh...

It's too precarious. The person in real life is usually pretty different than the online/phone one. Maybe they have all those great characteristics in reality like they do on line/phone, but you still need to see if you can co-exist in reality and see if there's that real face to face attraction.

Just as a relationship with someone in the same town, success will depend upon integrity, loyalty and the ambition to make it work.

I had failures but my best accomplishment was in a 6 year relationship wherein he moved from Tenn to be with me.

Good luck! flowerforyou

I think a lot of people are looking at it the wrong way otherwise the military families would never work

Its one thing to already have a family and then distance be put between them, and really quit another to try and start something with distance as the rule and not the exception
