1 can of chick peas drained and mashed minced garlic lemon juice 1 teaspoon olive oil parmesan cheese sun dried tomatoes green onion (cut up tiny) mix everything together season to your own taste teasingbrunette

Mmmm brunette.. you know its best with some tahini mixed in.. you can get it at a middle eastern, or indian store. Tahini is mostly a sauce made from postachio. I used to work as a chef in a middle eastern resturant.

Back to the OP. I have two kinds in the fridge now. Super Spicy and Roasted Red Pepper. The Super Spicy is not spicy at all. I have a bag of dried garbanzo beans. I guess it is time to make my own and make it REALLY spicy.

Tahini is mostly a sauce made from postachio. are there different kinds then? I use tahini in my humus but it is a paste made from sesame seeds

I wasnt thinking when I posted. We didnt make our tahini, but imported it. This was actually a joke my boss made with me when I first started, and I remembered the joke more than the truth.. He was telling me what it was made of, and told me sesame, (now as I remember) but he said.. no, its really made of postachio.. I just looked at him like.. ?? And said postachio? (he was very mischievous) anyway, he said that as a joke to pull my leg, becaause of the price of postachios, and the fact we got tahini in large buckets, and could never afford the stuff. LOL. I thought back, and went.. what did I say.. thats not right! lol. It was the way in which i learned. lol I remembered the joke first.

[now just wait: i thought tahini was sesame. am i insane? if you make me go the three feet to my own refrigerator to read a jar, i will be mad. i'm already cold and the refrigerator is sure to be significantly colder. pistachios give me indigesion (although they're my guilty pleasure and if anyone knew i would just die). I eat hummus with bare fingers out of the container while standing in front of the fridge with the door open in front of god and everybody. tell me it's not pistachio peanut butter.
