so saturday night my bestie calls and me it goes something like this...

"i need to get outta the house."
"wanna go to karaoke?"
"naw. lets see a movie."
"which one?"
"hmm. only one showing this late is Jennifer's body."
"I'm not payin for that crap. i hate megan fox."
"shut up. I'll pay for it. get dressed."

so we went to see this movie and i was prepared for a movie based on **** and a$$ and the undead.

OMG!!!!

okay ... so i'm not a movie snob, i try to enjoy everything I watch (except for that one batman film with alicia silverstone. that was utter crap) and really try to give everything a chance.

WHAT A FANTASTIC MOVIE!!!

i'm no megan fox fan but this film was just damned good! It was smart, witty, different and addicting. i laughed.. i even kinda cried (SHADAP!) and found that this is another dvd buy!

the end was fantastic as the credits rolled everyone cheered and we laughed and it was fantastic.

i can't praise it enough.

now if only megan fox would stay on her crazy meds to make more psychological goofy movies like this one.

and... last night.. we took the other bestie out to see it. ;P she LOOOVED IT!

Interesting, I assumed it'd be stupid, too, glad to hear it's not, perhaps I'll check it out.

I agree, I was sure it would be another stupid made for teens movie (and yes, in a few ways, it was) however that didn't detract from the fact that it wasn't half bad.

It looks different. I might give it at watch closer to Halloween time, because every stupid person will be watching Saw 6 (Why God? Why?).

I couldn't wait to see it and I was completely disappointed. I love campy horror movies, but this one just didn't work for me. I'm hoping Zombieland is better.

i wonder why you thought it would be a campy horror film.. hm. i never got that impression. i just really can't stand megan fox so i avoided the movie but was forced into it then loved it totally and utterly.

It was campy in a way. But honestly, Diablo Cody's dialog gets on my nerves. It just seems so artificial. That's my opinion anyways.

yeah the dialogue used by jennifer didn't feel natural but i felt like that gave her a lil more strength as she was supposed to feel unnatural anyway.

i'm gonna be honest... when they busted out in 867-5309 i started laughing soo hard in the theatre!
