YES! ... And ... many best guy friends turned into my boyfriends/lovers ...

And ... still, many did not ...

Easy for me personally, I had all brothers ... only girl and youngest, it's my comfort zone!

They ALL remain like brothers to me ... before, after, since; I easily balance it ... flowerforyou

I have through the years found that as I grew older(chronalogiclly cause I refuse to grow up ever) that younger the guys who said yes to friendship had other idea in mind. By my 40's I had made some male friends, not with benefits. There are 3 I am close with now and 1 I met on here,he doesn't do forums. I think opposite sex friends not only can have fun,but share and ask ?'s about the opposite sex.
If there would be an attraction on my part I would tell the gentleman. If he had none,I wouldn't want to keep it going. I also think that a good everlasting marriage works better if it starts on a friends level,my partner I hope will become my best friend also.

Sure

I have lots of male friends. More male than female actually

We are very close and they show me the utmost of respect!

I have so many male friends than women. I had a lot of fun with all of them and we joke around and laugh. Yes, They treat me kindly with respect and most of them love me for who I am.

Tammy we are alike!flowers

So, I pose the same question posed in when harry met sally.

Can a man and woman be friends if there is ANY attraction whatsoever?
And if so,,,where are these men at......?

Seems like the underlying game is always some promise or tease of a future relationship. Can people truly put aside the garbage and open up, being themselves, to be friends?...regardless of whether anything else develops or not?

Just curious,,

Yeah, I do it all of the time.shades

It helps if both parties are mature human beings, not all male/female relationships have to be sexual. Thank god for that....

One of my best friends is a guy.
We dated for a while back in High school. We went our separate ways for a while, and found our way back to being friends. Our friendship is stronger then it was before we dated...its stronger then when we dated, I think.

Can a guy be a friend if there's any attraction? Absolutely. He's very good for my ego. He has no trouble letting me know he's attracted to me, without being overbearing about it. We both know nothing will come of it. Neither of us want to ruin what we have.

So yeah, he's more then capable of being friends despite attraction.

I have a guy friend like that, too. Well, minus the dating part. We've been friends for about 6 years now, and about once a month he hits on me and I shoot him down, and then we're good, with no hard feelings. It works.laugh drinker

I'm glad I'm not the only one with that kind of relationship. Most of my other friends think it's weird.

Oh people always want to think the worst; in their minds, if you have opposite genitals you're supposed to want to jump each other. Thank god we're not all that primitive.drinker
