I wonder if the first person to ever think of this idea was stoned at the time.

I don't eat chips anymore. I stopped eating them like 20 years ago.  I miss junk food! Once in a while I cave and grab a handful of chips at parties or events and they make me immediately sick. The oil, salt and stuff is just too much.
Back in the day though, I loved Frito Boats! Fritos in a bowl smothered in chili and topped with cheese. YUM! 
HA HA! I love those too! Here in Texas they are called Chili Pie. At ball games and such the vendor would split open a little bag of Fritos in the shape of a boat and pour the chili on top and add cheese. Onions optional. I miss those things.
My family used to eat those when I was little at the local fair/festival..they were called Frito Bandito Boats....lol |

Anyone tried Mcdonald's french fries dipped in there icecream sundae? mmmmmm yummy, I can't eat dairy anymore and I miss that. french fries and icecream is good together. or french fries in my pudding lol |

I like hot popcorn on vanilla ice cream; also pretzels.
chips or french fries are good on sandwiches and tossed on soups and salads, etc |

Anyone tried Mcdonald's french fries dipped in there icecream sundae? mmmmmm yummy, I can't eat dairy anymore and I miss that. My kid dips his French fries in barbecue sauce and his mcnuggetts in ketchup, he has to eat the french fires 2 at a time with barbecue sauce or he don't like them.

CUCUMBER on sandwich gives it the crunch you need and its healthier than chips.

 I never heard of chips on a sandwich before this thread. Can't knock it if I havn't tried it,but sounds gross to me .However now my interest is peaking. I may try some combo this week,maybe Ritz on bolonga&cheese?? Then again,maybe not
