It's 6:30 Am and I'm sitting here drinking coffee and looking out the window to the east at the mountain I'm going to hike today. There are still stars twinkling and the color of the sky is changing. Orange's pinks and purples... Don't you just love a good sunrise

No mountains here in MI. like out West. It's sunrise across the water sometimes, usually across the fields.

Sounds great. Can you post a pic of the mountain? I don't have batteries in my digital..but I have to get some.. I'm taking the camera up the mountain later..I'll get some shots there..

Natures images are so great, its serene and relaxing, that little ball of fire that warms us is so far away but still affects us in so many ways, makes you realize how small we are.
