Me too! Kind of hard to be anything but depressed in this wet crap....lol. It rained here last Thursday and has only stopped for moments since then....and looks like tomorrow we will see sunshine....but then 4 more days of rain

Well they are saying after this gets out we are going to be in for some cooler weather thank goodness, about time. Then no more rain for a while. We have had it off and on for a good week too. I have a pond in my front yard now that i'm NOT suppose to have!..lol

LOL....I've seen those days We have been in the 50's for awhile now....most love the fall here, but all it reminds me of is the upcoming snow and sleet....I am really not a winter fan

Well thankfully we don't get much sleet or snow here. Just the cold and i'm ready for that. Don't like it but can't do anyting about it. Would love to move somewhere its 70 all year around. ..don't know of a place like that though.

I like to stay in in the winter too. I agree with you. You know how birds are. You got to watch thoes birds, they don't care where they POOP!!!...LOL.. ..Quakers are not easy to potty train.

I am pretty cramped in my room here and he is close enough to my bed, that when I let him go free....he runs all over my bed...so I always lay a sheet over it.....my coat hangs right next to his cage and I never thought to cover it.....maybe he's just telling me what he thinks of winter

Maybe so. BB stays in the kitchen. I let her out on her stand and on her cage alot. I start to wash dished and she thinks its time to wash her face and she will tell me so or she will tell me bath time. So I get the bath water. I think its the running water that does it. ..I have got to give her an attitude adjustment soon. She needs her wings clipped BAD!!.

I am so glad that I got Dobi at a young age....weekly I spread his wings to keep him used to being clipped. I could never clip Pip...always had to drive him to Indy and they held him down while it was being done. Dobi just stands there and allows me to do it...it's great! Dobi likes the shower...so while he gets his shower on top of the cage, I can clean the cage and then do my weekly scrubbing of the bathroom...so it works out well. The only thing Dobi does, as far as the kitchen goes...is demand a snack every time I go in there....he seems to think that every time I go in the kitchen, I should be cooking

Sorry KIm, I was on the phone with my sister. It was good that you got Dobi so early. You got to train him the way you wanted him and he is doing so good. That is good that he lets you spread his wings to clip. Its nice to have a baby that you can do anything you want to. BB is the same way.
