He is an artist
He becomes allergic to dark
Consequently forced to live only in light
He seeks it out, he respects it
for it is now his home.
Eventually he loses his balance
in the absence of contrast.

One day he'll paint his masterpiece
And forget the struggle of good vs. evil.
He'll cease to have an opinion
and swandive into the void
wondering if it'll be dark in there
or just another oasis of mediocrity.

He wonders what love is
as a man blind since birth ponders purple.

However...he eventually paints his masterpiece.

...He unveils the blank canvas
