Personally, I would NEVER be so vain or presumptuous as to post a topless photo as a main profile pic, for all the world to see, even though it's allegedly an "acceptable" or "more appropriate" practice that men are allowed to follow, for some reason. The ONLY way I would ever be seen in a photo without a shirt on is if someone took a picture of me while I had been swimming. It has nothing to do with being prudish or embarrassment, but more of common courtesy and decency.

Is it just me or does it creep anyone else out when men have profile pics of themselves at the computer with no shirt on. Maybe its just the men in my age group. I don't think of myself as a prude or uptight but it gives me the creeps. I guess to me it looks like some dirty old man breathing hot and heavy, whacking off looking at women online. First impressions go a long way. Put a shirt on! Just curious what others have to say. So lets hear it.

"Males" who gripe about "men" posting shirtless photos as their public pic are only jealous. You see, when pole-dancing at their local "alternative" bar, some mischievous someone handed them a tube of super glue for use in attaching their "pasties"...
AND NOW THEY WON'T EVER COME OFF! DOOMED TO ALWAYS WEAR A T-SHIRT, FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES! MWAAA-HAAA-HAAAA!!! You know who you are, don't you! >;>

I haven't really studied the male version of this phenomenon, but I've noticed that when the girls do it (the raunchy cleavage shots, etc.), you can pretty much assume the rest of the profile will be either empty or bland enough to induce a narcoleptic coma. If ya got nothin' to say, distract them with what passes for pulchritude, maybe. Lexy, maybe you shouldn't pummel them with those big words, like "narcoleptic", nor especially "pulchitrude", unless you post this... www.dictionary.com |

I don't see why everyone worries so much about what others are wearing in their pictures. If you don't like what they're wearing, don't pay attention to those pictures. Simple, right?
