Good luck to you. ooo that's awesome do tell why you'd recommend psychology I think there are more jobs in psychology- as a professor or psychologist- the media field seems to be saturated. At one time, everyone was majoring in that because it was new, but now it's like arghhh!!! I'm considering going back for a degree in counseling because the one I have now is practically useless. |

You really have to evaluate the jobs, I do not know anything about media and communications.
I am a R.N. many, many jobs there but I am going to re-train after 20+ yrs., it has really changed it's not the way it used to be |

I wish I was smart enough to be a nurse, but I never could learn science. |

Not nursing but the job availibilty is great. |

I guess I should try the hospital here, they say they have a turnaround rate of about every 2 weeks, maybe I can be the exception that doesn't get sent away, LOL |

i'm not exactly sure at this point... so many options to choose from in the preliminary research i've done so far, all of which seem so exciting. i'm going to see the career counselor on campus this week to figure things out some more. in my neck of the woods, i don't think it's a saturated field. who knows though... maybe i'll double major in both... i don't exactly hate psychology but over here it seems everybody and their mother is doing it.... and to pursue a career in the field of psychology you have to attain a masters and higher. |

They have alot of those jobs in the city I live in. |

Ah sounds like we're having the opposite problem then, LOL Well, if it's still a good field to major in where you are, go for it. Sometimes I forget that not everyone lives in America. That's true here though, too, about the Masters' in Psych to really do any good, but I don't mind another master's or even a PhD. Good idea about talking to an adviser they can really give you the facts. |
