There is and old saying that basiclly goes "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me". I don't like feeling like a fool and my anger kicks in. Maybe you just are afraid to get angry.

It is even with in the relm for me to give some things a second chance. Nobody is perfect but if someone is consistently imperfect maybe you really have tried enough.

But someone who abuses me physically, or emotionally (which is sometimes harder to see), I am going to put that person out of my life and make it where they can not come back in. Block the phone, email ect ect.

It is just self respect and self preservation. I really think letting someone who only cares about themselves, which this person sounds they are, is wasteing the gift of your life and self punishing. You might want to do some thinking/journalling why and then standing by your decisions will be easier.

Staying stuck with stupid keeps anyone else good out of your life too. In most cases much better people. Sometimes you really have to sweep the trash out of your life. Sounds mean but some who treat you like trash deserve that.

Surround yourself with friends and you won't be as lonely. As bizzar as it might sound it is ok to befriend people in your mutual match list just for friendships. Male and female.
