You get a glimpse into someone by what they post...
Some people don't want you to get to know them... They may actually enjoy the isolation... IMO |

...or maybe they prefer conversations in real life as opposed to on a message board. After all this site is supposed to be about generating relationships is it not?
I know message boards are a way for people to "get to know each other" better before meeting in person, but it's also very easy to not be as truthful about things when you're hiding behind your monitor. Get up, get out and go have some fun with someone. - Patrick |

read the forums, but never post on them? I have come up with these possible reasons... 1)They are shy. 2)They dont want to play hot oil strip twister. 3)They dont like Panda bears. 4)They are afraid that they will become "thread junkies" like the rest of us. 5)The dog ate their keyboard. Got any more ideas?................ |

Not by definition, no. Main Entry: min·gle Pronunciation: \ˈmiŋ-gəl\ Function: verb Inflected Form(s): min·gled; min·gling \-g(ə-)liŋ\ Etymology: Middle English menglen, frequentative of mengen to mix, from Old English mengan; akin to Middle High German mengen to mix, Greek massein to knead Date: 15th century transitive verb 1 : to bring or mix together or with something else usually without fundamental loss of identity : intermix 2 archaic : to prepare by mixing : concoct intransitive verb 1 : to become mingled 2 a : to come into contact : associate b : to move about (as in a group) <mingled with the guests> I don't see anything in this definition about "generating relationships". |
