I guess this area really is dead, no posts for a few days again!or maybe just say hi has not caught on in the region....thought I would say hi here too since i am new and all....Hammond Indiana here...not to far from the windy city...guess now they are gonna call it the over flowing water city with all the flooding we have had the past week or two!

HL -- A few of us have tried for ages to bring this Chicago forum to life, but we're just not getting any help!

It's funny, because there are actually a LOT of Illinois/Indiana people on the site (I see pages and pages of them in my search results), but very few of them ever post anything.

I have no idea why that is.

And the thing is, these forums are really an excellent way for anybody to establish a presence here, a way for all of us to get to know each other -- it seems like such a natural way to say, "Hey, I'm here, come talk to me, and let's find out about each other," but the locals just don't want to be bothered.

Good to see someone new from Indiana, even though my ex-wife was from there! And my best friend lives there now, too.

Have fun here, this is a great site, with many many great people. Just not much to speak of nearby!
