Do you enjoy the rights and freedoms that this country gives you?

If so are they not worth preserving?

Would you prefer the Nazi rule where Jew and other undesirables are
sent off to concetration camps and the gas chambers or lined up in front
a ditch and shot.

Perhaps the old Soviet Union's communism is more perferable?

Perhaps you think being a slave was a good vocation?

Perhaps the repressive Islmaic militant beliefs are better for you?

If not do you believe your freedom and rights are worth fighting for or
is it better or more acceptable to just rollover for those who would
wish to oppress you because death in war is worse than death as a
slave or in a gas chamber or in forced work camp where you are literally
worked to death or on the whim of some despot.
Maybe women should be stone for showing more than their eyes in public?

Maybe we should throw away all our weapons and just hope the bad guys
never come.

No, Idon't love or like war but it's better than surrender.

No, I don't like war. My Dad did help bomb Berlin and was an MIA/POW in
WWII. I sit here free today to do and say what I want because of that
generation and the ones that followed!

Hating war should be hating on those who prompted it or made it
necessary. (I know that I will never find forgiveness for anyone who
had anything to do with the death of my loved one overseas. Wasn't this
conflict, but the same damned trouble makers.) Not those that are
trying to beat them back. War is ugly, don't think anyone but a psycho
would say different. But in some circumstances, just no way to avoid
it.

Don't you think that statement is a little extreme. Iraq was not
invading the US and trying to install it's own form of government in our
country....drinker

I have to agree w/ Palhaco. This war doesn't have anything to do with
American Freedom. It is about control over the Middle East.

How would you feel if some strange country with a different belief
system and customs told you how to run your country? The fact that our
presence is still there is giving rise to new hatred and
misunderstanding. Besides, Hussein was never a threat to America.
Remember that there was never any guns or weapons of mass destruction
found. What we need more than anything is a good diplomate which
unfortunately our current president is not.

I love my home and my country, but I'm not so foolish to think that our
way is the only way. I simply prefer to live in a capitalistic country
due to it familiar. In addition, although our capitalistic country may
be corrupt at times or all the time, I am able to continue to live a
life with relatively quite a bit of freedom.

P.S.
Regardless of my opinion of the war, my prayers go out to all soldiers.
I hope and pray that they come home safely!
