How Did You See?
How do you see what I try so hard to hide? How do you know, all that I try not to show? When the one that loves me so, doesn't see the things that mean so much to me. You see my weaknesses, strenghts, my dreams, desires and my fears. Why doesn't he? I love the way that you reach me so very deeply. Yet, I wish you were him. I can't love you my mind won't let me. I see also what you try to hide. You are a very rare jewel in this world of stones. A person one meets once in a lifetime. I couldn't share you with the world. I am selfish and easily hurt. So I'll stay with him, and teach him to see, the fires you have awakened in me. Tina |
