I too, wonder who is authorizing all the money BHO is wasting on TV commercials. What public service comes from a commercial with comedian George Lopez. BHO quote,"Late Night is a change I can believe in." Tell me, where is the public served here? Obama's commercial money is coming from donations. I have yet to see the credit going to an organization at the end of any of his commercials. Here's one. It says it at the beginning and the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GoFj8Fc9iM&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fpol.moveon.org%2Fhealthcare_cantwait%2F%3Fid%3D17196-14218854-CaWUqQx%26t%3D2&feature=player_embedded Moveon.org, AKA, OBORG |

MoveOn.org Civic Action was started by Joan Blades and Wes Boyd, two Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. Although neither had experience in politics, they shared deep frustration with the partisan warfare in Washington D.C. and the ridiculous waste of our nation's focus at the time of the impeachment mess. On September 18th 1998, they launched an online petition to "Censure President Clinton and Move On to Pressing Issues Facing the Nation." Within days they had hundreds of thousands of individuals signed up, and began looking for ways these voices could be heard.
In 1998, MoveOn PAC was formed as a political action committee so that like-minded, concerned citizens could influence the outcome of congressional elections, and in turn, the balance of power in Washington, D.C. Now known as MoveOn.org Political Action, this organization provides individuals, who normally have little political power, an opportunity to aggregate their contributions with others to gain a greater voice in the political process, and brings people together to take important stands on the most important issues facing our country. The MoveOn Peace campaign was founded independently by Eli Pariser, a Maine native and recent graduate of Simon's Rock College of Bard. In the days following September 11th, 2001, he launched an online petition calling for a restrained and multi-lateral response to the attacks, which was quickly signed by more than half a million people. Eli joined forces with MoveOn soon afterward, and is now MoveOn.org Political Action’s Executive Director. http://moveon.org./about.html |

Interesting how the Obama sheep complains about the war when in one day he spent more than the total cost of the entire war that started over 5 years ago. That is not true. |

Interesting how the Obama sheep complains about the war when in one day he spent more than the total cost of the entire war that started over 5 years ago. Nevertheless, it was costly, and a waste of money to the american people. I do see the hipocracy. But, i do see a bigger picture than just Iraq. We have troops occupying, and attempting to influence 130 countries in the world today. If we brought them all home, and obeyed constitution, that would cut nearly a third of our budget. To expand on that, if we followed our constitution, the Federal Reserve Bank would not exist, saving yet another third of our country's spending (which goes toward interest on our national debt). Furthermore, if we followed our constitution, we would not have any sort of federal healthcare. Instead these issues would be taken care of by local governments, who were ultimately supposed to have the majority of the decision making power in the first place. That way, people would have more influence over their own lives. The more we consolidate our power, the more "one size fits all" policies will have to be made. What's best for residents of California, is not always best for residents of Maine. "A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government. " "Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence. " Both by Thomas Jefferson |
