Topic: What is despair?

What is despair? Is it this feeling of emptiness that resides in my heart? Is it the very darkness that is weighing down my spirit. They tell me, "Get your hopes and spirits up." and yet, it seems utterly impossible from the stillness in my seemingly empty chest. I ask a simple prayer: Please, remove these memories that cause me pain and and sorrow. . .

Dispair, is looking back at your past 30 years. And not find the face of one true lady, who loved you!

How can it be that there are so many on each side looking for the same thing and yet so many people who arent finding it? It puzzles me that we are all "missing each other". So much love out there to be given and so many people aching to recieve yet their are so many lonely hearts- Why is that? Could it be that that the love we seek isnt "packaged" they way we think it should be. Or have we been so mistreated in the past that everyone in the future pays the price for a crime they never commited.... I agree with Katzen- Im very upset by the mere notion of those feelings...

I don't know sweetheart, but is it possible that the answer to your prayer may be contained within the very emptiness that currently seems intolerable? If Emptiness is "The Wondrous Source of All Creation," then perhaps by quietly and mindfully being present to the stillness, the darkness, the emptiness you may find there is something gestating within, waiting to be born, anew, inside of you. I have found this to be true...I hope you find the same thing. I am praying with you
