A couple of crooked people in a company does not mean that everybody in the company is crooked.

That's not saying that I condone what those two women did.

Alls i can say is, Holy cow. Im finding an island somewhere and im making a new nation, it's going to be called "the nation that doesent accept crooked idiots that screw up life for everyone else".
If you come with, youll have to pull your own weight. The penalty for not doing so is simple, we take you out back and shoot you. Survivors will be shot again. The united states is screwed up beyond belief, but i challenge anyone to find a better country to live in.

^^^^^Since I would be one of the shot people in this new country by no fault of my own, I don't know what to say there.

As for Acorn, Acorn has had some problem people working for them that is for sure. If the whole organization was bad, it would have been prosecuted and shut down. Obviously its a few apples in the barrel trying to ruin the whole barrel.

ACORN has a lot of questionable people working for it. On the day of the vote there were ACORN people standing outside of polling places in Chicago verbally threatening people who would vote for somebody other than Obama. They were also actively registering homeless people to vote, as far as I know you MUST have a physical place of residence in order to vote since that is how polling places are set up. This is one organization that needs to disappear! Could you imagine the furor over the KKK standing outside polling places threatening voters, Al "not so" Sharpton would be making all the TV rounds demanding something because of it, yet he was silent on this.

I am with Quiet on this one. I have done all my talking on the other thread. But I will say.

Making an analogy of a white supermacist group in a nation mostly ruled by whites and comparing it to anything minority, is not a good analogy to begin with.

As for the list of things, if they had been doing illegal things they would have been charged for them. There was enough media coverage that if it was a chargable crime it would have been charged.

So that leaves you will very little to go on after that. Steam just kinda went out of it, I would say.

You don't need an place of residence to vote. You just need to be a citizen of the United States and registered to vote.

You would be correct on that. A homeless persons ballot gets marked "provisional" and set aside for further scrutiny after the polls have closed. I stand correcteddrinker
