Whats that sauce on eggs Benedictis that a cheese sauce ? It's a Hollidaze (spelling) sauce. Has a twang to it. thats right ..thats what it is.Could not think of the name of that.

A rue is more spicey and brown. Not always...I don't let the butter turn real brown, just melted and mixed (bubblely) before I add the cream/milk. I relate a rue with what I use for gumbo. I call what your talking about for gravy a thickening. I'm a yankee but with a Cajan twist living down here Yea I have to agree with you on that Carold. another good ole yankee :)

I have a bachelor party to go to saterday I dont know how well Im going to hold up with all the young kids I am sure you will do fine. There must be other oldies but goodies going besides you.

I also make killer homemade noodles for chicken and noodles.....How many pounds of that can I put ya down for? Not a big gravey person but could go for this Man chicken and Noodles is real comfort food.....so comforting!

I have a bachelor party to go to saterday I dont know how well Im going to hold up with all the young kids STAY AWAY FROM BEER BONGS AND TEQUILA SHOTS!!!!!!! The kids had me almost crawling on Joey's 21st B'day party!! Too old for that stuff! it starts 2:30pm saterday ends 4AM sunday

I haven't made potato soup in a long time, but I used to like it. Now I just try to justify the healthy benefits of it. Where? IDK a great thickener for the soup is instant potatos, sounds bad, but I made it for a group of friends and they asked what i used to thicken it, they loved it and asked for my recipe. It's so easy, I also add a little velveta cheese to just give it a spin on the taste. I think I'll make some for tomorrow. Good night all.

I have made a white sauce,rue , gravy whatever you want to call and added white wine to it as well. Is so good over chicken or chops. Especially with suted mushrooms. YUM Marsala yummy

Told my daughter tomorrow morning to just bring the baby in and put him in the bed with me, and let us sleep. I'll tell you the whole yucky story another time.
