we HAD a dog park till it got flooded out last year I remeber that.what a shame. Did you go there very often? never had a chance to take her there, I took Twister there a couple times.. poor guy was wiped out by the time we left and I hadnt even broken a sweat How old was twister when he died? Did you have him from a puppy? yep he was a puppy when we got him, he was 9 when we lost him Barney is 9 now.I dread the day we lose him.I can't even think of that. Losing a pet is really rough. could make it to 12

Man, I am spent. Spent almost 2 hours on the phone with the sister of that coach/vice principal that committed sucide. God, I just didn't know what to say...mostly listened. She is soooooo angry, he didn't even leave a note. tough subject... Ive seen more then I care to of this when I was on the fire dept.

It is hard. My first Pug, Pugsley, was 17 when we had to put him to sleep. It was shortly after Bernie died, which made it even harder. The poor little guy hung on so long. The vet said that he knew that we needed him and hung on by pure love only. He said that he would look us in the eyes and let us know when it was time, and you know what? The vet was right. My vet was awesome. He held me in his arms while I held Pugley and cried with me. Then he made a plaster paw print, sent me flowers and a framed poem called Rainbow Bridge. Now that is going above and beyond I'd say.

My daughter had a friend do that a few mos.Ago ...she was devasted and also very angry.

He shot himself at his own home. His son found him. No one has been back there. They are having someone come in to clean up, but don't know when and if anyone can go there again.

Boy I can understand the anger,but sadly feelings of guilt usually take over. Even though its no ones fault the family starts to blame themselves. this is really rough for family.
