What browser do you use and why?

Me, Opera 10. So so awesome. 100% on Acid3, loads every page perfectly, never had a crash, runs lightning fast and has everything you need without plugins. My favorite thing about it is a built in e-mail client that works perfectly with Gmail.

Google Chrome. Its a buggy piece of garbage but I've gotten used to it. It does have a couple nice features, but in general I'd recommend firefox.

back and forth between Safari and Firefox. Prefer Firefox, tho.

I use Opera religiously, I like how fast and stable it is and has yet to be hijacked. Unfortunately, there are some sites -- like my college website or the Netflix player -- that seem to be IE specific. Even then I choose to use an IE browser shell like Slimbrowser, Avant, or Maxthon.

Safari

Run's 64bit on Snow Leopard and is lightning fast (I've benchmarked Safari, Google Chrome and a couple of Chromium nightlys with the SunSpider JavaScript Benchmark).

It was the first browser to get 100% in ACID3 (well, technically the first was Webkit, but thats splitting heirs).

For development I will fire up Firefox, but only to use Firebug.
