Dated a girl of 23yrs when i was 42ys, not really a relationship we were more like f*** buddies that was about all we had in common.

and what happens when you're aging and they're still young and don't see you as they used to? That also seems like a problem the said older woman just has in her head. If the older woman is predetermined that a younger guy is going to see her differently because she is aging - it will never work. She would never be giving him a fair chance and would never believe the younger guy no matter what he says. Who's to say the older woman in some cases doesn't just enjoy the looks of the younger man - and once the younger man hits 50+ and starts aging, the older woman is going to dipatch of him and get tired of him not making her feel younger anymore? I would be more worried about that - not given a fair chance to be loved - or show my love - with an older woman. |

Joy I don't think your concerns are unjustified. There may be someone younger out there compatible with you but if it makes YOU feel uncomfortable then it's not going to work. Just like if I met a man my dad's age, there's no way I would be able to see past that fact for it to work.

Joy I don't think your concerns are unjustified. There may be someone younger out there compatible with you but if it makes YOU feel uncomfortable then it's not going to work. Just like if I met a man my dad's age, there's no way I would be able to see past that fact for it to work. That is 100% right. If your not open minded to it, just forget it. It will not work. Something will come up that will make you use the age as an excuse to not get closer. Seems like a poor idea unless you let the assumptions go. |

just strange to me even though some of them are little hotties  I won't go under 40, thats 9 years, can't imagine going any younger. Older..well I just can't get near my dad age |

I know we've had topics on this subject before.. I was just thinking about it due to a recent conversation with a friend of mine.. For me dating too much younger is not good b/c at some point there is nothing in common... But going a little higher can be too young b/c when you start aging, which we all do... how badly would it hurt to be left b/c now you're just too old...  Age is of little importance to me. Age really doesn't say much about a person. Age does not indicate their maturity, wisdom, knowledge, morals, believes, etc. |
