I never really did either. I do remember seeing them on MTV (back when they used to play music) in an unplugged show. They kinda caught my attention.......

I never really did either. I do remember seeing them on MTV (back when they used to play music) in an unplugged show. They kinda caught my attention.......
I appreciate the fact they helped change the direction of rock at the time. I could not have handled another decade of hair bands. I've just always thought they were an extremely overrated band, maybe the second most overrated band in my lifetime. |

I know more than a few will disagree, but I believe Kiss are the number one most overrated band of my lifetime. I understand they are professional showmen, but the music just sucks, at least to my ear. You'd think Gene Simmons would learn how to play the bass after almpst 40 years... |

I was big into the Who and Led Zeppelin when Kiss first came on the scene, not what you'd consider tree hugging hippy bands. As I said, I do appreciate the theatricality of the shows, but when you close your eyes and listen to the music it does kinda suck... I'm with you on Aerosmith. I've never been a fan. Perry is sloppy and way overrrated. The rhythm section is very simple and Tyler is a bit of a joke... |
