Career orientation will require one to be focused on developing one's skill....

good skill...good job, good job...more money...

Whichever makes you happy. If you are satisfied with a low paying dead end job or need a high wage high stress career it's your choice.

Career or job...what about the DREAM?
It seems that someone is truly lucky to be passionate about manufacturing something that everyone wants and needs, like the character of Richar Dreyfuss in "Down and Out in Beverly Hills". He owned and operated a coat-hanger factory, and lived in a fancy house with his family in Beverly Hills. However, they were all very disfunctional.
But he was PASSIONATE about making them da** coat-hangers!
Lucky for him!
It takes courage to pursue a dream, where often, you aren't sure others will share your passion for an IDEA, such as in a book one has written.
JK Rowling must have been pretty certain she would have a ready-made audience. Kids love Halloween.
Stephanie Meyer must have been pretty sure she would have a ready-made audience ("Twilight"). Women and teen girls love to hit the sack with vampires...despite the fact that they are cold, dead, and can't get "wood". But they are attentive conversationists...heck, they've got all the time in the world to talk...
There must be some vveeerrryyyy desperate women out there...

career, gotta be happy with what your doing or it wont last long,

in order th people may be happy in thier work these three things are needed:

they must be for it

they must not do too much of it

they must have a sense of success in it

Thinking a job is going to make you happy is like that life is like Disney baloney. They call it work for a reason. YOu do it eight or more hours a day to do what you want with the rest.
